News Announcements Change
Our current news announcements publishing system is not working as one would expect it, and has caused for some confusion of how the project is progressing. Until now, only main news announcements were made on the front page of the support site, and small news announcements were gathered and sent out as a progress summary report. The progress summary reports were not listed on the front page of the support site or on the news announcements page, but under the Community section of the support site ...

Team Reorganization
The osCommerce team has been reorganized to have the amount of resources available optimized, and to spread responsibilities throughout the team. Server Upgrade For The Community Support Forums
Can you believe it? Is that the same community support forum you grew accustomed to? After telling community members their faulty cordless USB mouses were at fault for the lousy response times of clicking through the community support forum,  Pair Networks  graciously strengthened their partnership to the project by sponsoring a second dedicated server to power the osCommerce support site. With the project now running for 4 1/2 years and with the community growing continually strong ...
New Knowledge Base Site Online
In response to community feedback we are proud to present the latest addition to the osCommerce support site - a new Knowledge Base solution that replaces the Wiki Documentation site, and aims to provide an enhanced user experience and improved documentation content. The Knowledge Base site is still a work in progress, both the solution itself and the document content it contains, and has been made live now in the first phase as the result is nothing to compare with to what has been made ...

The support site has been through a major update phase during the past few weeks, with the first set of changes now appearing online for public use. We hope the changes made are overall more appealing for the community, and are excited with the updates still to come! CVS Server Migration
The osCommerce development CVS server has migrated from SourceForge.net to SunSite.dk due to persisting problems experienced at SourceForge. Migrating to SunSite.dk provides additional benefits such as having our own subdomain pointing to the CVS server, ViewCVS always being up-to-date, and the possibility to send better-to-understand HTML based emails showing the changes made in a CVS commit. The CVS server can now be reached at cvs.oscommerce.com, with the same address providing an online ...
