It helps solve the problem of stock deficits by automating the procurement process and tracking orders at all stages.
The module works in two ways:
- By Order:
Monitor orders with product stock deficits via Purchase Order module
by the system and
add missing products to purchase orders automatically
- By Re-Order Level: It is also possible to
monitor products with stock levels lower than re-order level via Purchase Order module
. This re-order level can be set for each product.
When products are added to the purchase order, they're linked to and displayed in the sales order. For example, products that are ordered due to a stock deficit will have a "Stock ordered" status in the sales order. A popup window displays the number of products that were additionally ordered, and when these products are received, the module converts the purchase order units back into stock units, and the product status changes to "Received".
You can also
add products manually to purchase orders
, but these products aren't linked to the sales order and are displayed in the purchase order only. You can
assign sales order numbers to purchase orders
filter purchase orders by supplier, order ID, product model number or name, date ranges, and order status
