Linked Products module allows you to associate additional products with a primary product in the backend. You can easily
add products to the main product using Linked Products
tab while adding or editing a product. Simply search for the desired products and assign them to the original product. This allows for convenient management and association of related items.
Linked products are invisible to customers during ordering process.
When a customer places an order, they will unknowingly purchase the linked product(s) along with the original product.
Display linked products on invoices and packing slips,
providing clarity and transparency regarding the included products. This also ensures a seamless ordering experience without overwhelming the customer with unnecessary information.
During order processing in the backend, the linked product(s) will be shown on the order page. As a result,
main and linked product stock levels are updated simultaneously.
This helps maintain accurate inventory records.
Offer linked products for free
without charging the customer for them. The purpose of Linked Products module is to provide customers with additional products that are linked to the main product, while only charging them for the original product. This creates a perception that the linked products are given for free. For example, a customer purchasing a headlight (original product) would receive the required bulbs (linked products) as a complimentary addition.
Linked Products module enhances the customer satisfaction and loyalty by offering related products while maintaining the appearance of receiving additional items at no extra cost.
This module is used in the backend only and its settings can be found under the Modules and Extensions tabs.
