Setting up LinkedIn Login
1. Register as a LinkedIn Developer
1. Go to LinkedIn Developers Login.
2. Sign in with your LinkedIn account, or click Sign Up to create a new account.
3. Click Create app.
4. Complete the required fields:
- Enter your Company Name.
- Upload an App Logo.
5. Check the box I have read and agree to these terms.
6. Click Create app.
2. Enable Sign In with LinkedIn
1. After creating your app, go to the Products tab.
2. Find Sign In with LinkedIn using OpenID Connect and click Request access.
3. In the popup window:
- Check the box to agree with the LinkedIn API Terms of Use
- Click Request access.
3. Obtain LinkedIn App Credentials
1. Go to the Auth tab.
2. Copy the following credentials:
- Client ID
- Primary Client Secret
Note: You will need these values to integrate LinkedIn Login on your website.
4. Configure Authorized Redirect URL
1. Still under the Auth tab, click Pencil icon and + Add redirect URL link.
2. Enter your authorized redirect URL in the corresponding field.
3. Click Update to save your changes.
5. Configure LinkedIn Login on Your Website
1 Log in to the admin area of your website.
2 Go to Modules and Socials tabs.
3 Choose the required front end (if applicable).
4 Click on the LinkedIn social module and then the Edit button.
5 Go to the Authorization tab.
6 Paste your copied Client ID and Primary Client Secret into the corresponding fields.
7 Save your changes.
LinkedIn Login is now set up and ready to be used on your website.
