"welcome guest.....blah....."

with what i put on the main page?

"because it'll hurt more"- the greatest film of all time?

admin...tools...define languages....english.php....down towards the bottom you'll see define('TEXT_GREETING_GUEST', 'welcome guest....');

you can take out anything in between ' and '); but leave both of those in there...if you want it blank leave the define(TEXT_GREETING_GUEST', ''); <---- just like that or you'll get a parse error...

This is also the file where you can rename basically everything...titles, infobox headers...the works...

Ok, go to your admin...go to tools...click on define languages...click on english.php....go down to define('TEXT_GREETING_GUEST' .....You know what...here:

Replace this (in either define languages/english.php...or catalog/includes/languages/english.php...same file):

define('TEXT_GREETING_GUEST', 'Welcome <span class="greetUser">Guest!</span> Would you like to <a href="%s"><u>log yourself in</u></a>? Or would you prefer to <a href="%s"><u>create an account</u></a>?');

with this

define('TEXT_GREETING_GUEST', '');

that removes the "welcome guest"
