armycopter Posted June 28, 2004 Posted June 28, 2004 Does anyone know how to get rid of the default images (i.e. table_background_default.gif) that show up on most of the pages? I do not want any of these images. I think that if I delete them i'll end up with a red X in their place. Thanks in advance. siavash Posted June 28, 2004 Posted June 28, 2004 do you mean the default images on top right hand corner of main area of pages? not an easy one but i have commented out (or deleted) the relevant code in each page: <?php /* echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'table_background_specials.gif', HEADING_TITLE, HEADING_IMAGE_WIDTH, HEADING_IMAGE_HEIGHT); */ ?> Did you try? Did you fail? No matter! Try again. Fail again! But fail better!
Guest Posted June 28, 2004 Posted June 28, 2004 I would also suggest changing the page title on the page to your company name... instead of osCommerce.
armycopter Posted June 29, 2004 Author Posted June 29, 2004 Thanks to both of you... I did try to comment out that line but it doesn't do anything. I'm at the trial and error stage now. Also, I did change the title but on the main index page it still says osCommerce, the rest of the catalog pages are fine... odd but i'm working on it! Thanks, Mark P.S. any more ideas would be appreciated! Zuncan Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 There is a easier way. You can set it in admin panel under configuration/images/Image required=false. If you dont have a image, it doesnt show up. Takes 1 minute to fix So what?! Who care in a hundred years anyway?
