Please.... enyone.... help..... To run a sql file in phpmyadmin you click on your database then you should see some tabs across the top, click on the one that says sql then you will see a button that says browse, click on it drill down to the file that you want to run click ok and then click on the go button. You should then get a page that tells you that your query has run successfully or if there was a problem it will tell you that. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
PVK Posted June 28, 2004 Author Posted June 28, 2004 Thanks richard, i know how to execute sql commands, but i wasn't sure if the code in the word file was actually one. I guess by looking at your answer it is, so my best bet is to give it a swirl in the database then. I am always pretty cautious with sql commands, because the can make or F*^&*up your day pretty fast if you know what i mean ;)
