nezbie Posted June 28, 2004 Posted June 28, 2004 I was wondering, if it was possible to get a piece of code / help from somewhere, to help moderate the product reviews. I don't know if this "reviewing" is so popular among customers, but if we enable them to quests also, there might and will come out some bad language, kids on the run.. Well if there's some way to make so, if the text contains words like cr*p, f*ck.. it would pop up a javascript message that using these kind of words aren't allowed. And the list of these "banned" words could be saved somewhere.. I don't know, if it is a stupid idea or something.. If there truly is evil in this world. It lies within the heart of mankind..
markchiu Posted June 28, 2004 Posted June 28, 2004 wow, it should a great contribution tho.....i wonder if we have this type of mods here already ;) OS-commerce is great, but with other magical contributions, that is just so "COOL"!

They'll probably turn it into a game. Use the review approval system. http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...l/search,review Local: Mac OS X 10.5.8 - Apache 2.2/php 5.3.0/MySQL 5.4.10 • Web Servers: Linux Tools: BBEdit, Coda, Versions (Subversion), Sequel Pro (db management)
