richms Posted June 27, 2004 Posted June 27, 2004 At this stage, we are not ready to commit to a full web based ordering system, and are just wanting to get a catalog of products up for people to browse thru and make a shopping cart of items, then they will call, we will print out the shopping cart and work out a total the way we process orders from the fax at the moment. Heres the problem. We dont want prices displayed on the site at all. This is so the opposition do not look at the pricing, and that so many people have different prices they get things from us at., that maintaining the prices on the site would be a full time job and a half. How can I achieve this with osCommerce?
stevel Posted June 27, 2004 Posted June 27, 2004 Hmm. Perhaps Call For Price is a contribution that will work for you. Steve Contributions: Country-State Selector Login Page a la Amazon Protection of Configuration Updated spiders.txt Embed Links with SID in Description
richms Posted June 28, 2004 Author Posted June 28, 2004 Hmm. Perhaps Call For Price is a contribution that will work for you. Looks like its close to what I want. Im putting it up now so fingers crossed that it does the trick. Eventually will prob look at the b2b option that I saw mentioned elsewhere, its just the time to load all the prices several times isnt going to be fun :( hehe
richms Posted June 28, 2004 Author Posted June 28, 2004 I applied all the patches to the install, and it resulted in requesting /catalog giving a blank page, put back the back up and all is well
