rockstar Posted June 27, 2004 Posted June 27, 2004 I'm trying to upload product images into their own folders by: 1) create a folder in the images folder, such as images/necklaces 2) when I log into the osC admin page and try to create a new product, I insert necklaces/product_image.jpg instead of using the browse button. 3) upload the image into the appropriate folder using ftp. this works fine if i'm uploading products with my PC. the problem is that my client is a mac user, and for some reason, it doesn't allow you to insert a path name in the "browse for images" field on macs. this isn't an osC specific problem, for example when we go to hotmail and browse to attach a picture, it simply does not let you click into the browse field and type anything in. it only allows you to hit the browse button, then upload an image from your hard drive to the server. so using this technique of osC, it will put all images ONLY into the default directory (images), messing up with my plan of using folders to organize the products. anyone have a way to solve this problem? is there some configuration on macs that I can change? change the browse field to a text input field in osC? thanks in advance for your help.
