I'm slowly getting through the install although its been kinda a hit and miss experience.

I'm able to make it through all the configuration but when I click the "Online Catalogue" button I get the message:

"Warning: main(includes/application_top.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in c:\program files\apache\htdocs\catalog\index.php on line 13"

(line 13 references the 'application_top.php' file) it goes on....

"Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'includes/application_top.php' (include_path='.;C:\Program Files\php\includes;C:\Program Files\php\PEAR;C:\PROGRA~1\php\include_lib;C:\Program Files\apache\htdocs\catalog\includes') in c:\program files\apache\htdocs\catalog\index.php on line 13"

I've referenced the includes folder for the catalogue in php.ini just for good measure AND I've checked all permissions for the catalogue folder so Users have most permissions (for now anyways). This is running on XP with Apache.

Any help appreciated - I've been running into lots of problems getting this going.

you probably need to manually install the oscommerce.sql file via mysql connector, phpmyadmin, mysql front, etc . . .

The sql file installed no problem. Everything during the install went through - not perfectly mind you - but it did go through. I can see the new data tables and the new products that I've added during the install process.

Maybe I wasn't clear but after a fair bit of work I managed to get everything to install. Its after the install when I want to see the catalogue is when I run into the problems mentioned.

thanks for the input.
