Guest Posted June 26, 2004 Posted June 26, 2004 In OSC, do you need to enter your smtp. address somewhere? I keep getting the following, and none of the posts are clearing it. I have entered [email protected] as the email from address, but can find nowhere to enter the smtp. address of the outgoing server My server is set correctly on the secured site, I have checked, and am at wits end. Please help. This is after trying to submit the create_account.php form and I have made sure there are no other spaces after the ?> at end of code. I would be glad to pay to get this site online and functional. This is a great program, but a bit beyond me...apparently. Warning: mail(): Over mail quota. Geotex Posted June 26, 2004 Posted June 26, 2004 Is this on a public server? If so, are you certain it is running Windows for the OS? GEOTEX from Houston, TX (George)
Guest Posted June 26, 2004 Posted June 26, 2004 No, It is running Linux and I have switched to sendmail and LF and have same lame results. I would pay for some assistance as this is killing me. Let me know if you can help. Thanks, Marc
nrlatsha Posted July 19, 2004 Posted July 19, 2004 Is sendmail installed on your server? Is it set up in the php.ini file for the outgoing smtp settings? If you're on shared hosting, this should all be setup, but if its your machine, you'll need to set this up yourself. 9 times out of 10 its a PEBCAK Error (Problem exists between chair and keyboard) Replace that and you're fine...
