shayrgob Posted June 26, 2004 Posted June 26, 2004 Is my site always going to be at www.mydomain.com/catalog or is there a way to have it w/o the /catalog. And just to clear things up, my sites name is not actually "mydomain". Thanks
vasttech Posted June 26, 2004 Posted June 26, 2004 Because that is where you installed it. :P Sorry, could not resist. You can either copy the files over to your root and reconfigure your configure.php file to point there; reinstall osCommerce to your root directory; or, create a redirect that will point to the catalog directory. I would suggest the first option. osCommerce Knowledge Base osCommerce Documentation Contributions
Guest Posted June 26, 2004 Posted June 26, 2004 this is because all the oscom files were uploaded to a folder called /catalog in your FTP package. The the files were installed while they were still in the same location. ...... I would suggest that you reinstall (if it is a relatively new installation anyway) the oscom to the root of your website /httpdoc or /www folder in your FTP package. So upload the files to the root and then run the configure files again. Hope this helps
