amflores Posted June 25, 2004 Posted June 25, 2004 I'm supposed to build a realty site for a client and was wondering if you guys think I could use oscommerce for something similiar to these examples. I think they used the open-realty script, but this script seems so limited. Do you guys think I can build a better site with oscommerce? Here's the examples http://www.exitrealtylakeland.com/home.php http://www.findyourdreamsahome.com/
burt Posted June 25, 2004 Posted June 25, 2004 open-realty is the best open source script for property listings. You could use Oscommerce, but open-realty is better. It would be a lot less work involved to use rather than a hacked up oscommerce.
dolalu Posted June 25, 2004 Posted June 25, 2004 Yes im sure you could, i am using OSC for something not exactly what it was designed for. And it is coming together very well. The contribs sections have loads of stuff which will help you make your site more specific. Luke
