leanvdc2 Posted June 25, 2004 Posted June 25, 2004 I don't know why cvv2 don't save in database so that I can not see it in Admin's order window. Can U help me to solve this. Thanks Quote
Guest Posted June 25, 2004 Posted June 25, 2004 It is actually against VISA/MC regulations to save this field to a database; The idea is that the cardholder must have physical access to the card to be able to read this number. It's a weird rule, and stupid, because if you know what your doing you would copy the _entire_ number off of a card, but it's to prevent simple fraud (like if your credit card database gets stolen ... no stored CVV, get it?) I'm not sure if this is what is happening with you, but I'd assume so. J. Quote
stevel Posted June 26, 2004 Posted June 26, 2004 The way you would want to do this is have the CVV2 e-mailed to you, presumably along with the split credit card information. The CVV2 also doesn't get "imprinted" so it can't be picked up from credit slips. Michael Ray Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 And how would you implement emailing the CVV?? Quote
