shasta Posted June 24, 2004 Posted June 24, 2004 Hi I got oscommerce up and running its all fine, but at the start I was having problems with cmod errors from /catalog/configure.php & /admin/configure.php so I changed them both to cmod 777 and it installed no problems. When I go to the catalogue it says "Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file public_html/catalog/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file. So what should I change it to ? ps. im new to this also I guess I should delete the Installation directory as well ? or maybe just password it ? thanx for your help :P
Terje Posted June 24, 2004 Posted June 24, 2004 CHMOD the config file to 644, that will do it. Just delete the install-folder and everything in it.
