I also want to know how to do this. I'm moving to a new webhost. How do I move my OSC installation?

THanks.

I did this not too long ago and it was easier than I had thought. Yes, just ftp your files over, make a backup of your osC SQL database and import it into your new site. I would run your new site in parallel for a little while, I did this by getting another domain name for the new site and testing under this name before transferring my published domain name (be sure to change the config settings to reflect the new name for testing).

You don't have to get a new domain name. You can just go to your IP if your server gives you a dedicated IP (which, I know yours will ;) ), then when your new site is set up, just tell your original host to point your name at your new servers DNS info and to kill your old site. Only do this once you have fully tested your new site though. When people go to mghatworld, you want them to go to the right store.
