gbagley Posted June 24, 2004 Posted June 24, 2004 Hello Everyone, I am new here. Would someone point me to a quick rundown for...Backup, Restore, and Testing. Thanks, G.B.
♥yesudo Posted June 24, 2004 Posted June 24, 2004 not fully understanding the question. Your online success is Paramount.
gbagley Posted June 24, 2004 Author Posted June 24, 2004 Because I am just starting out. I would like to Backup my current work. Then maybe change some products and screw some code up on say the /catalog/index.php file. Not to mention change some permissions on some files. Next I would like to Restore everything back to my latest backup which I don't believe I have unless this program does it somehow. Thanks, G.B
Guest Posted June 24, 2004 Posted June 24, 2004 your best bet, is to have a copy of all of your files and database locally. when you make a change on one, test it, test it again and then test it again. if it all works, then back that part up, then proceed in making your next changes, and etst it, test it test it again . . . always keep one copy locally no matter what
