ttorimoto Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 Is it me, or is there no way to make a product NOT show up in the catalog when its quantity is 0...? I've looked and tried different things, but... i'd like to be able to NOT show a product if its quantity is 0. Anyone know how to do this? Thanks.
patrickbailey1 Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 Im not positive, but i think when you are looking at the product in your admin (categories/products) there is a green light and a red one...If you click the red light next to the product you dont want to show up, i think it doesn't show up...test it out because i'm not positive. ttorimoto Posted June 22, 2004 Author Posted June 22, 2004 yup.. you are correct.. BUT.. im looking for a way to have osCommerce AUTOMATICALLY make an item/product inactive (do exactly what you said) when the quantity becomes 0 (after someone purchases the last item in stock). any ideas? Or can it only be done manually (as in your method)?
patrickbailey1 Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 ohhhhh....jeez i dont know... http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...ll/search,stock http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...ll/search,stock http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...ll/search,stock ---Check out these contributions....the last one listed looks the best to me...you can search this area if you want...i searched for "stock" and these are the three i thought looked similar to what you want...although i dont know if the first two actually make the product not show up....good luck!
