Guest Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 Im trying to migrate a yahoo store over to an oscommerce store. Im looking to make more general info pages like the shipping policy page and contact page. Ive moved the Information module higher up so its more noticeable and would like to add it there. How do I go about adding more pages to the information box? I'd like to add a link to a customer cars page and a link to a shop car page, as well as a facility page, and media page. I'd also like to rename the shipping and returns link to company policy. How can I go about doing that? Thanks for everyones time and help in advance.
Mark Evans Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 To add new pages just look how the existing links are built in the box :) To create new content pages just copy privacy.php and rename it to what ever you want.. making sure you create a language file with the same name. phuzion Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 For a complete step-by-step guide on how to do this without modifying your cart, you can review the following instructions: http://wiki.oscommerce.com/docsCatBoxGenLinks If you'd like a very "easy" way to do this, where you can insert informational pages from the admin interface, you may wish to consider using one of the many contributions to do this. In particular, I am using Information Pages Unlimited 1.1e which was included in the "UltraPics" contribution with WYSIWYG support. This makes creating and managing such pages a breeze.
