Opinions and criticisms requested

Hey all,

 

Thanks to the fantastic osCommerce, some great contribs and the open source community, I was able to relaunch a site that was sub par with one that we are really happy with. I did the insatllation, code tweaks, graphic design and most product photography - my wife did entry page photography and header photography.

 

I'd love to hear opinions about design, useability, functionality etc. The site is live, so please don't complete any orders, or if you do, do it by check and don't mail me one - use an obviously goofy name too so I can just cancel it.

 

All suggestions are welcome, especially any that come with instructions on how to execute them :-) (like how to show all of the reveiw text).

I don't know the protocol on this, so I don't want to offend anyone, but I'd be happy to give out discount coupons to anyone who asks me for them - but again, it's not about trying to get over, or build business, I just think the open source community rocks. For a sex toy shop, it's pretty friendly and non-typical-porn-like. Good job.

 

I'd use fewer fonts to unify the site a little more. Take out the Magneto or whatever it is from the infobox headers, and use the 70s font that's in your main logo. Also, the blue/yellow you pick for the infoboxheaders should be more contrasting, because they seem a bit soft right now, although that could be just the font.

 

Again in your header, I'd like to be able to read your logo and slogan a little better against that background. A brighter outline would do the trick for the logo.
