Guest Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 I want to revamp my web www.premierstop.com before it becomes to big in its present form. I have spent a large number of hours going through the OScommerce web (as downloaded just last week) - have made some entries to evaluate what the layout will be without a lot of changes in the script - for which I am not very familier. I have concluded that the basic format is not going to be my immediate answer. My site will require a lot of links listed in the pages, there are many sites with this type of content, can anyone give me an initial direction to look for a suitable template. This community certainly looks like a really good location to continue a relationship. Many thanks if anyone can assist.
Guest Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004  I may not have asked the right question  I would like to know if it possible in the "standard" OSCommerce to direct several product categories to one product without entering the same product each time or can this be achieved with small amount of change to the script. i.e. one product accessory can be used in several types of the main product - it is many to one situation. Is there anyone using this type of site with OSCommerce?

Guest Posted July 6, 2004 Posted July 6, 2004 ;) Thank you for your reply, it confirms some information I received elsewhere. Although not the best scenario for the format I am looking to obtain, I think it will suffice until I can more fully understand SQL, databases in general and HTML. If you are interested, I am told that using Easypopulate plus Excel provides a good arrangement for making global changes, I have not yet explored this procedure. I hope it is not to complicated. Many thanks again, this does show the value of these forums.
