I'm on figure 3 on this page http://www.oscommerce.info/kb/16 where you must enter all your information to login. The thing is I dont know what to put in for each of the fields. I dont know how to make a database, and i dont know the username and password for any database. Is there anyway I can get a database onto my site and get a username and password for it?

Thanks

I figured out how to create a database through my control panel and i created a username for it(also through control panel) but it didnt require a password. It just said create xxxuser at xxxdatabse and i hit the "create" button and the username was made. I have no clue what the password is.

Your control panel almost certainly allows you to go back and edit user parameters, username and password.
