dgrebey Posted June 20, 2004 Posted June 20, 2004 For example, if you were going to sell a T-Shirt, you would have different sizes and different colors. To make ordering more efficient, it would make sense to set up a system like... ORDER FORM (Quantity by Size & Color) ----------------------------------------------- [__S] [__M] [__L] [_XL] [--7-] [-8--] [----] [----]: Red [----] [----] [--6-] [----]: White [----] [----] [--3-] [--3-]: Blue [ SUBMIT ] ----------------------------------------------- This way, a customer says, "I want 7 small red shirts, 8 medium red shirts, 6 large white shirts, 3 large blue shirts, and 3 extra large blue shirts. The customer after entering the desired quantity, would click submit, which would add this entire order to the shopping cart. This would make ordering much more efficient, as opposed to the current method of: 1.) Select product 2.) Attribute Options >> Color >> Red 3.) Attribute Options >> Size >> Small 3.) Submit 4.) Quantity = 7 (*on shopping cart page) 5.) Update ----------------------------------------------- I will post in the next couple of weeks exactly the solution i come up with, but if anyone has any suggestions that might help me on my way, i would appreciate it. d
