dukat03 Posted June 19, 2004 Share Posted June 19, 2004 i just bougt a hosting packedge that has os commerce on it i want to know if this packegde can offer me a way where i can just add buy tabs and link them to a purchaseing page i make all my pages from scrath i did not by templets or anything like that i make them from a blank page and a friend of mine told me that os commerce can do just that if so where can i go that will show me how to install os commerce onto my site***thank you Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You can add oscommerce to an existing website but, I found that unless you know php it can be tough to get a nice, seamless site. What I found best was, install oscommerce as the main entry to your site, now you can use a few different options to customise it. You modify it by hand, the php and stylesheets are easy enough to play around with. You can plug in some modules to change the look to a large degree, this involves uploading the files int the correct locations and maybe some minor changes to some files. Hope I helped a bit!
