kevinnaing
Hi all, Now Paypal improved his features. Customers don't need to have paypal account anymore and they can pay very easily by submitting their credit card info. Customers don't need to login to paypal. When I try to use oscommerce's paypal module, paypal asked my customers to create paypal account or login to paypal if they got one already. I think it may require some update codes for paypal module. Please help, Kevin.
pbreit
The "account optional" feature was turned on for nearly all US merchants. You can tell if you have the new flow by the "bread-crumbs" across the top for shipping, billing, etc. Patrick Breitenbach
safoo
kevin, you have to enable that in your paypal settings on the paypal site.

laddr
Hmm I am having the same prob as Kevin. I have enabled Account Optional in the paypal settings, and yes I am in the US. My customers are still being directed to the Paypal login page. Perhaps the paypal module does need some editing to support this?? Any ideas? kevinnaing
Hi, Yes, I enabled account optional feature in my paypal email and still asking my customers to login. Please advise, Kevin.
djs
It still asks for people to login, it just doesn't require it any more. If it didn't offer the option to login, how would people who have money in their paypal accounts use that money to pay for their purchase? kevinnaing
I am wondering if we need to edit or upgrade paypal module. Still didn't work for me.
kevinnaing
:D Hi all, I found that paypal account optional features was ok on one PC and didn't work on another PC. I think that problem will be because of IE settings in explorer and not concerned with oscommerce. Thanks, Kevin
