jimwh
Check your Admin page and you'll see the links needed to check on orders and customers. Obviously, make sure that you secure your Admin area on your production site.

jimwh
Then RUN !! (just kidding!) The customer would need to follow all the steps to complete an order and pay for it. At that point, if everything is set up correctly, you will see the order in the Admin section and you will receive notification from your cc processor that you have been paid (the actual process varies as to what cc processor you use). After testing your site and making it fully live, buy something from yourself, observe the entire process and make sure that it is fully functioning as desired. You can then void the transaction with your cc processor.

Guest
I used a simple trick! its the easiest solution I think there is to this. I have seen many people with this problem and all kinds of hard solutions. Here is my advise 1. change in your language file catalog/includes/languages/english/modules/payment/cod.php to read as the following: define('MODULE_PAYMENT_COD_TEXT_TITLE', 'PayPal Payment'); define('MODULE_PAYMENT_COD_TEXT_DESCRIPTION', 'PayPal Payment'); 2. create a master password for your store next. Instuctions can be found here: http://www.oscommerce.info/kb/osCommerce/Tips_and_Tricks/68 3. Ok when someone buys using paypal but doesn't come back go into admin console and select payment modules and turn the COD option on as a valid payment option (remember to turn off when done so no one is confused) it should now read in there as "PayPal Payment" 4. Log onto your store with the email address for the person who paid you with paypal and your master password. It will log you on as your customer. Now you should see there order in the shopping cart simply check out again, only use the modified COD as payment when doing it. It will give you the order confirmation screen and the order will go into your database, and best of all the customer will get the email notification of there order and it will read : payment type paypal(thats why you need to change the text in the language file). 5. Turn the COD off again in ADMIN or else someone might get confused when choosing how to pay you. Hope this makes sense. Jason
