jdoe
I asked this in my previous post, but after editing expired I realized there's a chance someone that could help might pass right over it.. I've been trolling huuuge pages of search results (since it appears the ability to use the quotations feature like "disable sessions" is broken), and have seen that a couple of other people have asked this question in vain, but nontheless I really need help with it. How do I completely disable sessions? All together. I don't need caching, would sacrifice letting users 'stay logged in' unless there's a way to use cookies someone could point me towards, and would like the address bars just read; blahblah/index.php, blahblah/category1.php, etc. Thanks! You could try admin/configuration/sessions/ force cookie usage set to true. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right?? jdoe
Goodness, that worked! This whole time the description had me confused, "Force the use of sessions when cookies are only enabled." Thanks very much!
