Not to be offensive here but this program is only as good as it's owner :(

i use iis6 and have read enough and watched enough to know iis6 is not very stable and has numerous problems, and there have been many here who have tried and failed. iis5 works fine. microsoft made a change which makes iis6 really tough to work with.

This is not a place for insults!

P.S.

Your probably not even using the Windows IIS6.0

I honestly was not trying to be insulting. I was simply stating what I have seen thus far. When I began to use OSC I thought it was horrible, until I got used to it. Now, I wouldn't suggest anything except OSC.

I honestly wasn't trying to be insulting. I just didn't know how else to phrase it. I was a novice (still am) when I thought it was no good.

If these problems are php related than it should also be a problem to users of other operating systems. And I am using linux and I do not have these problems. And yes oscommerce is not the easiest but with this forums it helps a lot. But also trying and trying again helps. And sorry ronald... I have seen so many questions from you since 3 weeks ago...did you try hard enough? I am not blaming you or your operating system. but what about making a backup and do a fresh install and document what you are doing? Than you can start asking decent founded questions.

These are operating system problems and are nothing to do with osCommerce.

IIS6 isnt stable and I wouldnt even consider using it for a website.

Download the latest apache 1.3 and you will see it works much nicer.
