Guest Posted June 15, 2004 Share Posted June 15, 2004 Hi guys, I am getting the following error in the admin pages: Warning: error_log(SERVICE_DEBUG_EXECUTION_TIME_LOG): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/cbadmin/public_html/admin/includes/classes/logger.php on line 49 However, it works fine in the catalog pages without any problem. Any clue on how to fix this problem? I have reverted logger.php back to original 2.2 MS2 version but still problem persist. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
djs Posted June 15, 2004 Share Posted June 15, 2004 I assume you have a relative path for your logging. When your in admin, the relative path causes the file to be written into a different directory, where it doesn't have write permissions. Simple solution is to make sure you have a complate path listed for the log, and that the webserver has write permissions to the file. I would recommend have a directory of /home/cbadmin/logs (note that this is outside of the webspace), and set the directory to chmod 777, and send everything there.
