pboreham
I really need some desperate help or some ideas please chaps. We cannot log onto the admin part of our website - and it appears to be only when using a freeserve dial-up account. I can log on from the office using NTL broadband no problem, but our user who is working directly on the catalogue has not been able to get in for over a week now and is getting mighty p***ed off! I've just gone through all the obvious - reset Internet settings, turned off firewall etc etc but still no good. The password box keeps coming back as invalid then after the 3 attempts goes to the Error 404 page. Any ideas of a) what the problem could be with OS Commerce or B) what other problems could be causing it? Many thanks for any help you can give, Paul. vasttech
Your host or site may be blocking ips from their address for that directory through a .htaccess file. You may want to ask your host if there is something up. osCommerce Knowledge Base osCommerce Documentation Contributions
pboreham
Thanks Jeff - I have asked the hosts to look into it - what is the .htaccess file though?
