DragonsEdge
I am a new user to osCommerce and love it. I have searched the forum requests about placing catalog in the top level domain, and the concensus seems to be using redirects. My question is twofold actually. 1) Is it true that search engines such as google frown on the use of redirects. If so is there a work around to this dilema? 2) What does the directory structure have to be to have oscommerce reside in the top level? In other words does it have to include /catalog. I hope these questions are concise enough and I apoligize if they are redundant, but it is imparitive I find the answers as we are totally changing over to oscommerce from another ecommerce system and we can't have the search engines mad at us LOL. Thanks so much in advance for any assistance provided
ryanf
Here, check this out. I asked the same thing a while ago. At least the part about the catalog directory. Ryan If I was crafty, this would be a funny signature.
