synamax
Hi all - I have been working with the following site - www.dabnutrition.com - since december ... I have installed all of the appropriate contributions that i have read in research that will assist in search engine optimization (header tag controller, title description, etc.) However, I recently followed the advice of a post and typed in the following to find out how much of my site had been indexed by google : site:www.dabnutrition.com Upon doing this, I found only 2 or 3 links and then when clicking the link for those omitted in the search i found where there were TONS of links to dabnutrition.com that were OLDER versions ... the reason i know they are older is that i have established the site within the root directory ... the older sites had a catalog directory, supplement directory, etc. My concern is that potentially the seo efforts of a previous web dev/master could have led to blacklisting and spoil all of my current efforts ... Please take a look at my site and offer me any suggestions that you find that may help this site get indexxed ... Google picked the site up for a short period in february but since then .... this site has been unheard of in the search engines... Thank you for all of your help with my frustrations
midigod
I thought Google would index dynamic content, because PHP should deliver an HTML version of the page to the spider. Is that not correct ? The strategies I suggest are; 1) Have a proper HTML home page. One which isn't the cart. It seems polite anyway ;-) The page should obviously have links to true HTML content as well as the entrance to the shop. 2) I think an HTML link should be added to the header of the shop - similar to the index page above. I'd like any tips on where this should go. Is Header.php the best place? JMCTW. I' be interested to hear what other people think .....
