richardsteve
Hi, I'm wondering why, when I cruise around my site, the images don't show up when I've come to a new page (until I refresh the page). Is anybody else having this problem or is there a fix? It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens really often...often enough to lose customers. Thanks! richardsteve
My link is http://www.asmartgift.com/cart/. I'm still trying to figure out why sometimes images won't show up on a page of my site, until I refresh the page. The buttons and images just show the little "X" where an image should be, until refreshed.
agiftcodotcom
I'm not sure which setting it is, but I'm thinking it has something to do with your cart/includes/configure.php file. Guest
check these siteswww.flightbooks.com/catalog www.mambospeed.com/catalog <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Same as Jack. At time of writing, I don't see any X in your stores. (I'm using IE6, Netscape 7.2 on XP) Have you cleared your browser cache as Jack suggested? Also try to view your sites with other browsers. brucesly
I wanted to add to this that I have had the same problem off and on now for over a year. The sites work perfectly 90% of the time and then all of a sudden the pictures, graphics, color etc. disappears with only the text showing. It definetly has something to do with the refresh of the page. I have a fairly heavily modified cart at Light Professionals and a brand new clean install at with a skin applied at Life Quest Nutrients On both sites you can view this phenomenon by clicking the refresh button. If you double click the refresh button quickly it will either turn the graphics on or off depending on the state the site is in. Some times it wil take a dozen double clicks to change the state and the next time two or three attempts. I personally would find it amazing if someone could fix this issue. I have tried everything I can think of and several things that other have thought of. So far nothing that works. Bruce
brucesly
Just another bit of info for the missing graphics issue. I did a test and had others do it on two differnet computers an apple system with aol and an explorer. Both experience the missing graphics and then a refresh fixed it. I did my own test and this is the what the picture properties shows. http:///images/microsoft/intkeyboardps2.gif http://www.lifequestnutrients.com/catalog/...eel_of_time.gif Maybe somebody knows where the code for the missing directories is changed? brucesly
i did some more searching. I found that by removing the space after 'HTTP_SERVER', in line 14 of configure.php in the catalog/includes seems to have stopped the intermitant missing graphic. define('HTTP_SERVER','http://www.lpro.com'); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers I got sick of trying it because it is so intermitant. It is something to try anyhow and it seems to have worked for me.

When I press refresh it then fixes itself and looks likethis. Please can someone help with this problem??
Dooahhdoo
Additional, the screenshots dont really give the full picture. On the first link the oscommerce banner that should be centred on the bottom of the page is on the right hand side of the screen just out of view.
