Digital Assassin
Hi, I'm currently in the process of setting up an online store using oscommerce but seem to have encountered a problem. When trying to checkout the error message: "The security certificate was issued by a company you have not chosen to trust. View the certificate to determine whether you want to trust the certifying authority." appears. Obviously this doesn't look to good from the customers perspective if they have to 'okay' the certificate everytime. Is there a solution to this problem?? Thanks, Tom
vasttech
Did you or your host install the certificate? That error is 9 times out of 10 caused by a misconfigured certificate. Check with your host or check the installation instructions on certificate authority site. osCommerce Knowledge Base osCommerce Documentation Contributions
Digital Assassin
Thanks for your help. At the moment I've just got a verisign digital key/certificate which has been placed into the main oscommerce directory...
