Guest
First, I just want to thank everyone who has posted to these forums. The information I have gleaned just by reading the posts has been incredibly helpful to a newbie! My concern regards making the Admin Panel secure. At the present time, anyone can gain access to it with the correct URL. How do I prevent this from happening? I cannot go live with my shop until it is resolved. HELP! vasttech
There are a couple ways you can do this: 1. Setup password protection for the admin directory through your hosts control panel. 2. Create an .htaccess file (search the forums as this question is asked almost daily). 3. There a couple contributions that will also do it. osCommerce Knowledge Base osCommerce Documentation Contributions
