berkedam
Ok, I need help making the preview pic not downloadable. Can someone help me or point me the right way??? if i can see it, my PC has downloaded it already. there is no way you can prevent downloading (and saving the image) "If you're working on something new, then you are necessarily an amateur." bluepony
You might want to watermark your previews with your logo or website URL. I'd rather be flying!
agiftcodotcom
Even if you do a "no right-click" people can do a "print screen" and get it. A watermark is the best way to go. Guest
Go to Dynamic Drive's no right click script which is here => Dynamic Drive This won't stop everyone, but it will stop the less technically minded. Hope this helps, Jon
ryanf
as john said already, all the images are downloaded into your temp interfile files folder. All one has to do is find the folder and walla! The image is there. Do NOT put a right click script on your page, I have them and they are a pain in the arse to innocent people. There really isn't anyway to stop people from getting your files except for watermarking them, even then, people can still photoshop them. If I was crafty, this would be a funny signature. ♥yesudo
cache can be controlled: http://www.i18nguy.com/markup/metatags.html but you still have some of the probs mentioned above. Your online success is Paramount.
definitivecars
Yea, I forgot about print screening...i guess I'll have to water mark em all!!!
ryanf
why worry about it? I know it sucks when you do all the work and other people steal em but is it worth doing all that extra work? If you took that picture of the sponge thing, your good. If you find others stealing your images, a letter (even if it's fake) from a lawyer should stop em. If I was crafty, this would be a funny signature.

RichC
Visual watermark is best .... but you can also do the imperfection with a swirl or wave that slightly distorts the photo. There is also a digital watermark that is invisible that you can add using a service (like: Digimark) that will track your digital watermark when it is used on a website somewhere. Of course that would require legal cost to enforce but if it gets used by Microsoft you could be a weathy man!
