Product Attribute -set an option as default?

When using product attributes, is it possible to choose the default attribute to load for each product?

E.G.

Attributes could be: Small,Medium,Large

 

if a customer clicks on the product LARGE Shirt, the product page loads with the option Large loaded by default ,

if a customer clicks on the product SMALL Shirt, the product page loads with the option Small loaded by default

Alternate attribures are still available to choose from, but the default option is defaulted to what admin chooses
