jsignal
I've been handed a project that needs to be done ASAP. We're new to OSCommerce, but do have it up and running. Our store is going to sell rather abstract items -- blocks of "green" energy (we're a power cooperative). So, obviously, we will not be shipping an item. What we need to do is generate a PDF "certificate" containing the customer's name, how many "blocks" of energy they have purchased, and a serial number or range of serial numbers for said blocks. We've considered building a separate inventory system to handle the serial numbers, etc. The OSCommerce would simply handle the credit cards, etc. My BIG question right now is where would be a good place to hook into the OS Commerce application. Perhaps I could redirect the user from the "transaction completed" page to a PHP-based PDF generating application? I'm just looking for ideas from the guys (and gals) who know OSCommerce -- yourselves. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks, Jason
