bobthelucky
ok the page you are looking for is create_account.php make sure that you have it ,now if it ant be found it may be you changed something on it and caused a parse error.so my advise is replace it with a new copy of the orginal to see if this fixes your problem,if it does go rework it again more carefully. single an double quotes getting dropped or missplaced is common problem in php so check them out also if you added code to it, you may have to escape any quotes you put in liike this <font color=\"red\"> hope this helps
kaustin
Hey thanks for you help... now I can log in. I do have another questions about my log in problems. For some strange reason I can only log into a user account when click on the My Account link at the top of the page. If I try to log in using any other link I get the infamouse HTTP 404 page not found error. So I'm kind of back to square one... Do you have any idea on how I can fix that also Thanks, Kenon
bobthelucky
ok if what you are sayingis you try and log in from home page and you get error then you might be missing or made an error on catalog/login.php page and you need to replace it also. in any case does it tell you at the top what page wasnt found? if so replace that page or look for errors on it
kaustin
Ok we are getting there.... I have a couple more questions about logging into my account. I have replaced the catalog/login.php file and now I can click on the My Account button and log in without a problem. Now when I try to log in by clicking on the log yourself in link on the homepage I get the all too familiar HTTP 404 error. I also get the same error when I add something to the shopping cart and proceed to check out. When I attempt to log in I get the HTTP 404 error. Should I try to replace the catalog/login.php file again or is there something else that I need to alter or replace. Hey and thanks again for all of your help.... I really appreciate it. :D
bobthelucky
https://pilchersindianstorecom.secure.powwe...1d0c5ba3527c973 https://pilchersindianstorecom.secure.powwe...1d0c5ba3527c973 ok that is my link to log in one from front page do you want t o log your self in and one from shopping cart after placing something in it.both are the same but you say you replaced this file catalog/login.php is it possable the file you replced it with was corupeted also? if so you need to get a brand new login.php and replace it that should solve your problem unless you wwere changing things on another page and perhaps messed up the link. so you need too decide if you made changes to another page and what page that was and replace it with a new one. You can keep your changed pages and put them back if you find out they were not the problem.
