gurmeetm Posted June 7, 2004 Share Posted June 7, 2004 I currently have OScommerce installed on intermedia.net server. Whenever I place a order it says email is sent but I dont recieve anything. djs Posted June 8, 2004 Share Posted June 8, 2004 I don't know anything about intermedia.net setup, so I can't be much help, but you should check a few things: 1. In your store configuration, make sure 'send emails' is turned on. It's easily overlooked, but there is actually a toggle that turns this function on and off. 2. If your using SMTP, the actual configuration is setup in your php.ini file. You may not have access to this file. One of the general failures is that the email address used in the osCommerce configuration is not 'authorized' to send email through the smtp server. 3. Contact your host, they should be able to fix this in about 1 minute. It unfortunately is probably not an osCommerce problem, but a configuration problem between osCommerce, php.ini, and the smtp server.
