ACE99 Posted June 7, 2004 Share Posted June 7, 2004 Mine are currently set to: session directory: /tmp force cookie use: false check ssl session ID: false check user agent: false check IP address: true prevent spider sessions: true recreate sessions: false I'm on a shared server. My store has been up for about 3 weeks and we are getting orders. Everything seems to be ok, except I want to make sure that these are right. Can someone please explain each setting and why I should set them to what they are? I think my recreate sessions should be set to true. I don't want to force cookies because that may keep some people from being able to access the site right? Also, yesterday a customer called and said they couldn't buy because every time they would go to checkout they'd be taken back to the login screen. And ideas why this happened?
