Stock levels linked to product attributes?

Hi,

 

I'm evaluating osCommerce for a new store, but am wondering how to achieve the above.

 

Say, for example, that I am selling jewellery. I have a ring of type A, in sizes J, K and L.

 

osCommerce allows me to set a stock level for the ring, but not for each of the sizes. So I could actually sell out of size K but it would still be available to shoppers.

 

Is there a trick to do this, or perhaps a contribution I can install? I've had a look through them, but nothing sprang out at me. I'm guessing this isn't a unique requirement, but you'd be amazed at how many shopping cart systems just don't allow it at all. :blink:
