aznsnoopy Posted June 4, 2004 Share Posted June 4, 2004 hey guys just wondering if anyone has made a module for item attributes where u can work out prices based on a size of an item. such as 10cm x 20cm image = $2 and 10cm x 40 cm = $4 i know you can manually add these in but if it is a custom size hten the customer needs to type these sizes in and it will automatically calulate the price based on a set percentage we set. its kinda of complicated to explain has anyone done this or know how to?? I was thinking of doing something like this for my site also but decided against it since there are too many combinations/errors that the user could make. In your above example you gave it two different ways. 10cm and then 40 cm (notice the space). What if the user forgot the cm? There are countless ways they could mess up and trying to account for all of them would be a nightmare in my opinion. If I was crafty, this would be a funny signature.
