Categories Structure

Hi,

 

I've started to use OsCommerce and i'm now facing an problem with an structure that one of my clients presented .

 

Basicaly there are Main Categories and Sub Categories,until here no problems....

 

But what my client need is to organize the products also in Collections under the main Categories. So each Main Category has his collections , and the products are also related to that collections..

 

The layout is this one :

Main Categories : Lingerie, Sleepwear, Fetish, toys, clothing

Sub Categories : Bras & Panties, Teddies & Bodies, etc ....

Collections : Crystal, Erotic fashion, etc ...

 

Can anyone help in a way to acomplish this using the OSCommerce , i dont know if there is already any contribuiton that can be used..

 

Also one of the troubles i'm antecipating will be , showing the Categories, and Subcategories in that way... any solutions..

[Guest]

osC-ProductListingSelect for MS2 should do what you need.

 

Categories and sub categories already show in a column format - you can select in admin how many columns to show per row.

Hi Matti..

 

Sorry , i think this is not what i want..

 

My lasty doubt was about how to show main categories at the top and then the correspondent subcategories in the left column..

 

since Oscommerce create the menu with categories and sub categories and need to separate them..
