sgatepunk Posted June 4, 2004 Posted June 4, 2004 Hello, I was wondering if anyone else out there had any issues setting up the download feature? I set it up just the way the wiki documentation said, with 755 on the dowload folder and 777 permissions on the pub folder. I also checked the configure.php file but it was already the way it specified in the download how-to. So here is my exact issue. I set it all up, and add the product and change the attribute so it is downloadable, I then go to make a test purchase, and download it, and as soon as I click the link to download the file I get an internal server error - please contact your administrator. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated on this one. Thanks in advance, sgatepunk
djtodd Posted July 16, 2004 Posted July 16, 2004 Try turning off download by redirect in the configuration->downloads section. Some webservers, shared units for the most part, won't support this feature.
