Cannot Change Silver/Grey Boxes of Index.php

And cannot make the changes reflect, the boxes i am speaking about are the

Categories

Manufacturers

What's New?

Quick Find

Information

 

I am trying to change the silverish/grey color to another color

 

also, i was able to change the CATALOG, , MY ACCOUNT, CART CONTENTS, FONT COLOR but not the color for the FOLLOWING HEADERS ---> TOP, Categories, Manufacturers, What's New?, Quick Find,Information

 

I am looking in the catalog/stylesheet.css

I'm assuming you're talking about stylesheet.css in admin/includes/ because that's where mine is, and I'm having the exact same problem. I change the colors, upload, refresh, and ... nothing.

stylesheet.css in admin/includes is for the admin area only

stylesheet.css in catalog/ is for the catalog only

 

If you are wanting to change each individual box to a different colour then you will need to make changes to catalog/includes/classes/boxes and create individual box classes then create different styleclasses in the stylesheet.css

 

This is what I have done and now I can change any part of the site as an individual component this is colour text hyperlink etc all individual so I can have different colours for each box and different text and text colours and hyperlink colours and on and on etc.
