Guest Posted June 3, 2004 Share Posted June 3, 2004 Hi Everyone, I am new to the OSCommerce community, appologies in advance if this topic has been covered previously (I did try searching though!). I am interested in building a foreign language hotel reservation system that could be offered to a variety of small hotels and pensions. I'd like to essentially give small operators their own website, and 'catalog' of things to purchase, ie rooms, airport transfers, tourist excursions and so on. My question is whether OSCommerce would be suited to run in this way with the appropriate customisations. In a way, I am basically wanting to build a combo of a commerce engine, and a little bit of Geocities as well. Does anyone have any thoughts to this approach? Thanks in advance.
