Is there a point of sale mod for OSC?

Hi everyone,

well, I am trying to integrate a solution for a business solely based on OSCommerce. The business has a physical store and would like to use OSCommerce as point of sale.

Is there a POS mod for OSCommerce?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions,

Sincerely,

But the problem you face is that instead of one single data entry being made to add your products you would have to make two. One for the website and then one for and POS system. This would also had when using stock control. So what everyone is after is a way that the whole system can intergrate with each other. So basically I entry of products that gets updated accross the board.

So do any program support that.

The accounting system that I was thinking about would be either Quickbooks or Simply Accounting. I would have to import an IIF file into the accounting system since I do not know how to make OSC talk directly with the accounting software(there is probably a SDK available or something....).

There is a module POS called "Live_Sales" but it is full of bugs and is for manual entry only so that your DB doesn't get updated properly for stocks. It would be nice if a programmer could have a look at it since I am not a programmer.

I am still looking around and try to figure out a way to make the system entirely automated.

Maybe someone went through the same nightmare and will help us,

In hope,

I was just looking for the same thing.

Something that could be tied to OSC thru a physical store.

If anyone has any projects already working please let us know!

Thanks.
