splitfinger
I've searched for hours and have found many threads about upgrading but no real concrete answer... Is there a definitive way to upgrade from version 2.2 CVS to 2.2 MS2? I have a fully stocked and live site and downtime will not be good let alone a complete derailment. I did the original install via an auto installer from the cpanel interface of my host. I see there is "upgrade an existing Installation" to MS2 but I'm a bit leary of that. Aside from design/layout enhancements of my own, I have no alterations or contributions used. The database is my main concern as I know very little mySQL should something go awry. Can someone advise on how I should go about upgrading?
splitfinger
Can anyone help or point me in the right direction? There's a few contributions I'd like to install but need to upgrade to 2.2 ms2 first. Thanks.

splitfinger
While I have been using oscommerce seamlessly for over a year now... I am completely new to upgrading so forgive my ignorance. I just can't afford a problem. Are you referring to http://www.oscommerce.info/kb/osCommerce/U...g_osCommerce/29 for upgrading info? This is all I could find and seems bare bones on the instructions. It is also for ms1 to ms2... Would there be addition issues for me upgrading from CVS? Should I dismiss the idea of the auto ms2 upgrade offered by my host via cpanel?
